Healing Begins Within

The road to healing begins within, every single time. Desire is the driving component of every effort, isn’t it? To eat, to sleep, to safety. We strive for it all and it happens. Healing is the same. It’s a natural propulsion of being human. Love, career, ambition. As we fulfill each of our needs, the system of action and reward is either reinforced or degraded. There will always be both wins and losses, but the more you try, the more you gain. Growth despite everything is what generates renewable healing. Gratitude gives weight to the appreciation of each step.

Check-In With Your Deepest Emotions

Emotion is always fluttering, fleeting, and buzzing around setting the tone for your present experience. Take a step back and reign it into something manageable. Emotional energy can be diffused. The discipline to breathe deeply and bring yourself to stillness allows you to radiate out patience and calm, regardless of any apparent chaos. Breathe in the reality of the moment and sway composed peace towards any disarray. Everything is addressed in time.

Gain Some Insight

Knowledge is power is a flighty understatement. In increased understanding, the tools to heal all wounds arrive. Motivational speaker, George Torok postulates that “good luck is a residue of preparation.” Indeed, this too is so. With awareness and application, insightful wisdom yields fruition. However, it takes time to evolve, but evolve you will.

Be Patient

Healing is an ongoing process. It takes time to discard the faulty thinking that’s been letting you down. Start filling the voids within yourself before casting blame toward any other. Healing is the direction of your journey, not a singular destination, so get comfortable, get excited, and start the quest to find yourself, within yourself. Committing to cease self-destructive behaviors allows you to stop dysfunctional cycles and appraise the cause and effect of what you’re manifesting. The deeper you commit to healing from the inside out, the more lasting and gratifying the work becomes. Reflect on how much power you hold over your own ability to mend and progress. In the light of clarity, the shedding of chaos happens naturally. Healing begins within.

“Human behavior flows from three main sources:

desire, emotion, and knowledge.”

 -Plato
