Meditation Helps Set Intentions For Each Day

Meditation helps me to set intentions for each day, and it can do the same for you. Being present in each moment allows me to have days that are more fulfilling because I meet them with mindfulness. Conscious involvement in each thing that I do encourages positive decision making. When I meditate, it helps me to set my intentions for the day ahead.

Greet The Morning

Each morning gives me a chance to define my purpose in life. The quiet time when I wake up helps me to formulate a plan for making the most of my time.

Meditation allows me to connect to my inner beliefs and bring them to the forefront of my thought flow. Having that connection reminds me to focus on what I truly value, want, and actively work towards. I choose to live according to what I believe is wholesome and just. Meditation gets me there and helps me adjust and flow when things don’t go according to plan.

When I look within, I consider the impact that my actions have on my circle of influence. My focus is on being a positive influence for those people.

What Do You See When you Look Within?

As I meditate, I realign myself with that focus and commit to living positively for the day. I encourage my subordinates at work and extend helping hands to those who are less fortunate. I truly believe that it makes me a better person because it sparks in me the reminder that I am just a person, like everyone else.

Do You Release the Residue of the DAY?

Quiet time at the end of each day also helps me to re-center myself. A quick reflection allows me to identify shortcomings, accept changes, and develop a plan of action to overcome them later, but most importantly, it allows me to release. When I let go of the residue of the day, I sleep sounder and restore myself for whatever comes next with ease. It is a practice of loving-kindness.

Each day, I acknowledge that there is significant value in meditation. Being able to focus on my inner being is helpful in allowing me to experience rewarding moments, days, and years. If it can do all of this for me, imagine all the wonders that it could do for you too! It’s so easy and the health benefits are exponential.
