Navigate With Grace

It’s a given that not much turns out exactly the way that we plan or hope, but we serve ourselves best when we navigate with grace. During this playful month of October, we remember to take it easy, laugh with relaxed attachment, and reflect with fondness on how a big part of this quality journey is to take life in stride. To be human is an adventure in humility. Today, we remember that it’s A-okay to feel so big and separate, yet to be so small and intimately connected. In embodying our light, we accept that some days we will have to sit patiently with our shadow. So, lighten up Linda, it’s all part of going with the flow.

Grace

In the dictionary, grace means ‘refined movement’ or acting with ‘courteous goodwill’, and you guessed it; that starts with how you treat you first. You may be wondering, “How does one remedy feelings of disconnection with humorous grace? To that I’ll say, “how the heck would you really connect to yourself or anything without it?!” Life isn’t always in a spot that we’d most prefer, and a lot of the time, we ourselves aren’t either. So, we’ve got to remember to settle down enough to stop taking ourselves so dang seriously. #WorkInProgress. No matter where you find yourself today, let me remind you, it’s easiest to be thoughtful, polite, and courteous when you can accept yourself exactly as you are. You are poetry in motion. And damn, it just feels good to allow yourself a hearty smile.

A Special Kind of Affirmation

If you’re sitting there thinking, “Riiight, sounds great, but I’m not all unicorns and rainbows today,” that’s cool, because the truth is, not all days are like that. Still, gift yourself a moment recall that you’re in charge of you (mind-body-soul, and yes, attitude), and you’re worth any internal rewrite that may be calling for your attention. When grace spills apart like a busted can of biscuits, laugh it off, and try again. Radical Self-Acceptance is where it’s at.

On this day, I open more fully to the inexhaustible joys of love.

As I tap into this energy, I understand that it is the source of all progress and expansion.

Gathered into alignment with love, I intentionally step forward into the day with grace.

I allow all that is mine to come to me with ease, as I am here, I am loving,

and I am listening with faith for all ways to share this great abundance.

May love and hope spread through me and from me in all days, in all ways. 

I am a queen of both humor and grace. 

Comedy is a Spirit of Love

In the morning, we rise to meet the tasks of the day and charge ourselves up by calling all of our energy into alignment. At the end of the day, we remain open, balanced, and steeped in joy when we can accept all the curveballs of life with grace. Duck, sway, and flow my lovely as you navigate your way through this life with a knowing smile. And, don’t forget to get your journal on! Nothing says “falling into self-care” like cozying up with a hot cup of tea and journaling out some energetic self-reflection.
