Quit Stealing From Yourself

Stepping into your highest self requires you to quit stealing from yourself immediately. Often, we pilfer, loot, and strip ourselves of the things that we most need, without even noticing. The thing is, these subtle thieves will plunder your every attempt at progress until you capture them. It’s time to notice the patterns that swipe away all success. Comparisons, negativity, arrogance, and cruelty all lead to thefts of our own competence. Unconscious or not, when these self-assaults go unchecked, they radiate outward into everything that we come in contact with. The good news is, all we have to do is acknowledge them and let them go; then, we truly step up to our inner truths.

It Is Time To Quit Stealing From Yourself

Discern Your Darkness, face your shadows and mindfully clear up all disturbances in your life by noticing where they exist. To clear them, you may meditate on why they crept up there at all. We all have an inner light and dark, but the more that we recognize and understand the part that each plays in our lives, the better equipped we are to edit, transition, and balance our internal landscape and come into alignment with what we really want. In practice, remember that kindness inward lays a much more welcoming external path than criticism. Stealing from self is an act of self-sabotage.

Abandon Volatility

In desperate times, in hopeful times, and in all spaces in between, we thrive only when we can abandon all acts of violence and work on building our own competence instead. Every undertone of volatility destabilizes us in a fundamental way. It communicates to the world that we don’t know what we want, nor do we truly value it. Once abandoned, we learn that in the stillness of our own truth, we are stabilized unlike ever before. To find that stability, we must delve beyond the reactionary impulses of arguments and confrontation.

Step Into The Light

When we fully commit to living with integrity, we stop stealing from ourselves, from others, and from our own future. In every form, stealing is an act of violence that starts within the mind and wears us down. Examine your truths. Over time, in practicing our values and learning to set new skills into action, we are amassing all of the valuable resources that shape our future. We must pay attention to what we embody.

Your personal value doesn’t stem from what we own in the world but emanates from what we feel ourselves to be capable of doing, attaining, and giving back. Building that up requires harming no one. This is the gift of self-care. Don’t steal for the sake of feeding the ego. Garner competence to feed the psyche and the soul. Liberated from violence within, we can promote peace all around us. One day at a time, we learn to let go and find the courage to change the things that we can. The sooner that you can quit stealing from yourself, the quicker you can heal, shift and evolve forward. Study yourself and discover all the treasure that you hold within; no stealing necessary.
